Lausanne, Switzerland, March 31, 2017 – Kim Behrens of Germany displayed outstanding court sense when she scored back-to-back points that dropped in the deep left and right corners of the court at the bronze medal match of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Sydney event at Manly Beach.
Behrens and Anni Schumacher were denied another podium finish after conquering the silver medal in Shepparton, as Louise Bawden and Nicole Laird of Australia won the match 2-1 (21-18, 22-24, 15-11).
The Germans tried to use the break between matches to relax but they lost 2-1 to Australians Bawden/Laird in the bronze medal match
