Kish Island, Iran, February 14, 2017 – The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour’s new five-star structure will make a historical debut when the men’s only Kish Island 3-Star 2017 opens on Wednesday, February 15.
Kish Island hosted its first World Tour event in 2016 with 48 participating teams from 21 countries, where Qatar, Russia and Poland emerged as the top podium finishers.
The event this year will be tougher with a single elimination format in the qualification round. Eight teams from the qualification round will complete the main draw’s 32-team roster that will vie for the very first Kish Island 3-Star medals.Players set foot on Kish Island sand for training
