Kish Island 3-Star celebrates golden moments

 
Kish Island, Iran, February 19, 2017 - The Kish Island 3-Star 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event ended on Saturday with Russia’s Nikita Liamin and Viacheslav Krasilnikov winning their first FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour gold medal as partners.




The Russian duo bounced back from a first-set loss to claim a 2-1 (18-21, 21-19, 15-8) win against Poland’s Piotr Kantor/Bartosz Losiak.




Earlier, fellow Russians Oleg Stoyanovskiy/Artem Yarzutkin bagged the bronze in a 2-1 (13-21, 21-17, 15-7) win against Germans Lorenz Schümann/Julius Thole.




The Russians shared their joy with the fans.




Qatar’s Cherif Younousse, who won gold in Kish Island in 2016, grabbed a GoPro and showcased his dancing skills.




Iran’s beach volleyball coach Reza Naeini showed us around an ancient underground city as he talked about the future of the sport in his hometown.
