Lausanne, Switzerland, February 22, 2017 - Cole Durant and Zachary Schubert of Australia silenced the crowd as they overcame local heroes Rahman Raoufi/Bahman Salemiinjehboroun of Iran in an amazing rally to win their match in the Kish Island 3-Star 2017 Round of 32.
The Australians went on to defeat Swiss pair Mirco Gerson/Michiel Zandbergen in the Round of 16 before losing to Poles Piotr Kantor/Bartosz Losiak in the quarterfinals. Kantor/Losiak finished silver medallists after losing to Nikita Liamin and Viacheslav Krasilnikov in the Kish Island final on Saturday.
