Competition Format for Rome World Tour Finals:

Same as 5-Star tournament:

Qualification: 32 teams single elimination to qualify 8 teams to Main Draw.

Main Draw: 32 teams modified pool play followed by single elimination.

Note: The Confirmed Entry List will be issued 21 days prior to the tournament and as per the same principle as 5-star tournaments.

Please refer to the Event Regulations, point 2 regarding the competition format and the Beach Volleyball Sport Regulations, point 21 and 22.1. For your information, point 22.4 of the Sport Regulations will not be applicable for this tournament.

Same breakdown of Ranking Points as 5-star will be awarded to the athletes and the points will be counted for Olympic Ranking.
