Lausanne, Switzerland, November 24, 2016 – Brooke Sweat and Emily Day will make their bow as a new pairing at the upcoming Trinidad and Tobago NORCECA tournament that runs from November 25-27.
Sweat previously played with Lauren Fendrick from the start of 2014 and they competed together at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.
Day (below left) has played with a number of partners since she made her World Tour debut at the 2011 Quebec Open alongside Heather-Lee McGuire.
For the last two years she played with London 2012 silver medallist Jennifer Kessy and the pair won bronze at the 2015 Antalya Open in Turkey.
If all goes well the pair will make their World Tour debuts on home sand. The Fort Lauderdale Major in Florida is due to signal the opening of the 2017 World Tour from February 7-12.
