Olsztyn, Poland, June 20, 2016 – Latvia’s Aleksandrs Samoilovs and Janis Smedins captured the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Olsztyn Grand Slam, with their victory over Brazil’s Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt on Sunday.
The Latvian pair relished their 2-0 win, together with their more than 300 supporters that trooped to the venue and endured a seven-hour road trip from Latvia to see gold medal match
The crowd and the event staff seem to be in high spirits after being treated to an excellent finale.
