Introducing the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships
Along with the U19 and U21 World Championships, the FIVB Beach Volleyball Commission announced the introduction of the FIVB Beach Volleyball U23 World Championships for 2013.
From June 5 to 9, all eyes will be on Myslowice, Poland where the U23 Championships will be held to see who will take home the title in this inaugural age group championship.
Myslowice is no stranger to organising high level volleyball competitions.
The town, located 70km outside Krakow, will host a FIVB age group World Championships for a third time after successfully hosting the U19 and U21 World Championships respectively in 2006 and 2007.
It also hosted stops of the FIVB World Tour - the first World Tour competition was a single-gender women’s tournament in 2008, as was the 2011 event. In 2009, 2010 and 2012 it was the men who took centre stage.
