Kristyna Kolocova, Czech Republic – “All the teams here are really good, so either you bring something special, which I think was the case for us today, or you’ll have a very tight game. We had a really good block and defense and maybe the score made the match look easy but we had to concentrate on every point and it wasn’t easy for us”.
Michala Kvapilova, Czech Republic – “The last year has been very good. We know each other much better in the court and that made us better now than we were last season. The curve is up right now and let’s see what the next games bring”.
Anouk Vergé-Depré, Switzerland – “We weren’t so calm and we made some bad decisions. They served well in the end of the first set and had some great blocks. That moment affected our performances in the second set. We couldn’t have given it away as we did.
