The Hague, The Netherlands, June 15, 2017 - The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour resumed Wednesday at The Hague, with much anticipation on all fronts.
The US$150,000 DELA Beach Open
welcomed everyone to the newly constructed Sportcampus Zuiderpark,
Followed by the official opening ceremony of the purpose-built facility.
Athletes took their practice sessions indoors,
with past success needing to take the route via country quota.
As the qualification matches went underway,
Brazil’s George & Vitor Felipe made it to the main draw, surging to 11-0 in the tie-break.
With each team looking forward to a weekend of great beach volleyball,
Volunteers all around will be waiting to welcome you to The Hague,
